We are T-1 day from Thanksgiving and if you’re anything like me chances are your knee deep already in prep. That also may mean you may have forgotten something or are just looking for a little something to add to your menu or bring to the meal you are attending… and I have JUST the recipe for you!!!

This is my beloved great Zia Aurora’s famous Tiramisu recipe. Without fail, the light and luscious dessert would make an appearance at every family lunch/dinner and of course holiday!! And honestly, I can’t think of any better holiday that could benefit from this dessert than Thanksgiving.

At the end of rich and heavy meal, this dessert is uplifting (quite literally… the name’s translation…Tira-mi-su = Lift-me-up from Italian), flavorful, light and oh so addicting!! Freshly brewed expresso spiked with an extra zing is lightly soaked in lady finger cookies before being layered with a rich yet light mascarpone cream.

The bake free dessert only takes about 30 minutes to come together and is perfect to make ahead as it is ALWAYS better the next day.
